Job Summary:As a CNC Milling Machinist, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining multi-axis milling machines to produce high-precision components. You will ensure machine efficiency, monitor production processes, and make necessary adjustments to maintain quality and productivity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Machine Setup: Prepare milling machines by selecting cutting tools, setting machine parameters, and securing materials.
 -  Machine Operation :Operate CNC milling machines to cut, shape, and machine metal, plastic, and composite materials.
 - Quality Control: Use measuring instruments like calipers, micrometers, and gauges to verify accuracy and meet specifications.
 - Tool Maintenance:Inspect, sharpen, or replace cutting tools and ensure machines are well-maintained.
 - Safety Compliance : Follow safety protocols and properly handle cutting fluids and waste materials.
 - Blueprint Interpretation: Read and understand engineering drawings, blueprints, and GD&T specifications.
 - Problem Solving: Troubleshoot issues such as tool wear, workpiece misalignment, or machine errors.
 - Documentation:Maintain production logs and records of machine settings, materials used, and production times.
 - Collaboration: Work with engineers, supervisors, and team members to achieve production goals.
 
Qualifications:
-  Diploma or Engineering degree in Manufacturing or related field.
 -  5+ years of experience in CNC milling machine operations. 
 -  Ability to perform own setups and edit programs manually.
 -  Proficient in setting origins, offsets, and holding tolerances of +/- .0005 or better.
 -  Strong knowledge of blueprint reading and GD&T.
 -  Experience with HAAS and Matsuura CNC machines.
 -  Reliable, efficient, and dedicated work ethic.
 -  Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot standard manufacturing issues. 
 -  Familiarity with various work-holding methods.
